J Perrot Enterprises offers a Laser Cutting System. The CO2 laser is diffusion-cooled and equipped with a radio frequency (RF) excitation system; this revolutionary new unit has significant advantages over traditional CO2 laser. It comprises: laser beam; laser beam adapter; front mirror; refrigerant outlet; radio frequency excitation; refrigerant input; rear mirror; RF excitation discharge and beam guide electrodes. The optical resonator is composed of a sealed system with two opposing mirrors, and two parallel electrodes, which also act as beam guides. This effect is generated by two electrodes, which is diffusion cooled to dissipate the heat generated in the gas. No turbine or blower unit is required to stabilise the system. The beam adapter module is integral to the laser head and generates a high quality, axially symmetric beam. The following factors contribute to the system"s low running costs: no turbine, and hence no moving parts subject to wear; no laser gas supply system; drastic reduction of laser gas consumption; reduced lens service costs; reduced electrical power consumption (e.g., due to the lack of a turbine); reduced warm-up time when the system is switched on (5 minutes maximum); and higher beam quality for its power class with factor K > 0.9 (optimal K = 1), thus enabling high quality, high speed cutting.
