Ametek Process Instruments offers Laser Analysers, 5100-NMC. These rugged and compact laser analysers used for non-contact measurement of moisture in natural gas. These tunable diode laser analysers directly measures water vapour concentration in natural gas without actually contacting the gas. The device helps producers, pipeline operators and service companies assure long-term pipeline integrity by monitoring moisture levels in the gas stream. The non-contact feature maximizes reliability and durability by preventing chemical additives from fouling the instrument. With compact, fully enclosed optics and sample conditioning, the analyser features on-board moisture verification and all digital signal processing. Modbus and Ethernet analog and digital connectivity are included. The rugged compact unit is available in IP-65 and NEMA 4 enclosure. The analyser has a limit of detection of 5PPMV and an operating range of 5 to 2500 PPMV. These are accurate up to less than, 2% of reading or ±4 PPMV, whichever is greater.
