Meiban Engineering Technologies offers Salvagnini’s L1Xe Solid State Fibre Laser for high productivity at reduced hourly costs, guaranteed. The company introduced the L1Xe to usher in a new era of laser cutting. This machine needs no CO2 gas; no mirrors and no turbine and is maintenance free, drastically reducing the laser costs, increasing the margins. It does not use bellows and does not need beam compensation system. It also has no start-up time and consumes 75% less power. Salvagnini designed the L1Xe with a view to create a laser cutting system that would not only be flexible, efficient, extremely reliable and exceptionally safe, but also be easy to run and program, competitive and attractive in terms of price. It uses single lens for both thin and thick sheets. It has been proved that a fibre source requires 50% less power to achieve the same performance as a CO2 source. In addition, the guaranteed efficiency of a fibre laser which is higher than 25%, with respect to a CO2 laser.
