Pierlite India offers the DOT range of Recessed Downlights that consist of a large selection with particular emphasis on energy saving CFLs and LEDs. There are about 80 standard downlight models in the range, but the unique DOT design and construction method allows in excess of 4500 variations and also included a large array of accessories. The beauty of the range lies in its versatility. Clients can significantly change lighting within building spaces by simply changing accessories fitted to the DOT downlights instead of replacing the entire product, which is the norm. The patented Axlock system allows this ease in versatility. Although the product and brand is from New Zealand, the products for the Indian market are manufactured at the company’s manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad. Of the many models, the most unique is the DOT 70 metal halide beam modulator. It is probably the only downlight in the Indian market, which gives a beam modulation from 9° to 78°, has a maximum of 35° tilt and can rotate for 358°. DOT downlights in India have been installed in Delhi Airport VVIP Lounge, Nirlon Knowledge Park, Holy Spirit Hospital, New Era School, Syngenta Goa, etc.
