In this exposed neon replacement product, Reiz Electrocontrols provides a jobsite formable LED system designed to resemble exposed neon in signage, architectural and accent lighting applications. It provides a bright, uniform appearance and a wide viewing angle. For many retailers, restaurants, hotels and other building owners using LED solutions in signage, the use of the cool-to-the-touch LED Flex is a natural extension of energy initiatives aimed at retiring less efficient, high-voltage neon systems. Plus, the low-voltage LED Flex is up to 50% more energy efficient than neon. Features and specs: up to 50% energy efficiency; long life – 50,000 hours @ 70% lumen maintenance; durable/impact resistant; can be formed on-site using high strength double sided tape; transparent water clear epoxy is UV stabilised; frosted dispersed epoxy (optional) is UV stabilised; power usage – 10 W/metre; typical voltage – 24 V DC/28 V DC; input current – 30-50 mA per LED; PVC profile is UV stabilised; operating environment – -10° C to +55°C; protection rating – IP-65; and LED by Nichia Colors in light engines – red, green, blue, amber, white and warm white, tri colour RGB.
