Aviation Obstruction Warning Light

Komal Leolite manufactures a range of luminaires and lighting accessories. Aviation obstruction warning light is specially designed for outdoor installation on high towers, multi-storeyed buildings, tall chimneys, high mast installations, etc, to provide obstruction warning to low flying aircraft. The unit consists of a cast aluminium body finished in stove enamaled grey hammertone. Two thick aviation red glass domes are mounted on either side of the fitting and held together with the help of two aluminium casting rings, secured to the body by means of non-corrosive screws. Two 2-pin porcelain holders are wired in parallel to hold the 100 W GLS lamps. A 31 mm ET is provided at the base in the centre of the body for mounting the fitting. It also serves as the entry point for the wire. The optical system consists of two specially designed aviation red prismatic glass domes to give a symmetrical light distribution with maximum intensity at 10&176; above horizontal plane. The glasses have smooth exteriors. The unit has IP 54 protection.
