The equipment is regularly calibrated and certified by NPL Delhi and the masters have national and international traceability. Environmental conditions, comparable internationally, are maintained round the clock, as under: temperature – -20º ± 1ºC; humidity – 50% ± 5% RH; dust level – 1,00,000 class (0.0005 mm particle size); and illumination – 1000 lux at the point of measurement.
