Pre-Treatment For Galvanized Iron Sheets/Metals

Pradeep Metallurgical Products offers Galvaprep-22, an excellent pre-treatment chemical for initial pre-treatment of galvanized steel sheets used in fabrication prior to powder coating, painting, laminating or lacquering. Galvanized steel sheets/angles/channels/poles, etc, have extremely poor paint adhesion properties and hence this treatment is strongly recommended. It is used by brushing at 1:1 concentrated form and allowed to completely air dry prior to painting. It can also be used for dipping process at 16-20% concentrated for 3-5 min at room temperature followed by drying and painting.
