Polypropylene Glycols

Polypropylene Glycols are polymers of propylene oxide. They are clear, viscous liquids with low pour points. PPGs are available in different molecular weights i.e. PPG - 425 / 1000 / 2000 / 4000. These are available in packing of 210 kgs net per drum. Dow produces several polyglycols that are useful as both anti foaming and defoaming agents. As anti foaming agents, these products are added to aqueous systems to prevent the formation of foam, if foam has already formed, they can be used to eliminate it.
