N-Butanol

Ramniklal S Gosalia offers N-Butanol. It is available in bulk tankers. Normal butanol or N-butanol is a colourless liquid with a specific odour. N-butanol is inconsistent with strong oxidisers (permanganates, perhydrol) and reacts with strong mineral acids. Applications: plastic materials and rubber industries; solvent in the industry of nitrocellulose and alkyd resins based varnishes; solvent in synthetic leather manufacturing; extraction agent for oils, drugs, perfumes; raw material in production of hormones, vitamins, in plasticisers industry (dibutyl phthalate); and solvent for urea and phenol resin based varnishes, oven dried.
