Fused Tungsten Carbide Powders (FTC)

Avis Machines offers Fused Tungsten Carbide Powders (FTC). These powders have very high hardness and outstanding abrasion resistance. These are available in 1 kg and 5 kg packing in polythene bags. Chemical composition: Tungsten as W,% 95.0 to 97.0 & 95.0 to 97.0; total carbon Carbon as CTOT, % 2.5 to 3.5 & 2.5 to 3.5; free carbon as CFREE ,% 0.1 maxmium; Iron as Fe,% 0. 4 maxmium and Cobalt as Co, % 0.2 to 0.4. These are used to manufacture diamond tools for cutting of very abrasive materials, self lubricating sintered bearing, contact material of current flow performance in arc resistance, adhesion resistance & contact resistance, electric motors & generator brushes and friction material for brakes.
