Fuel Stabilizer

PX 3682 is a free flowing pulverized product ideally formulated for removal and prevention of fireside deposits in all types of boilers. This is mainly used for fossil fired boilers where onload removal and prevention of deposits in the fireside surfaces is essential because of poor quality fuel. This fuel stabilizer is a blend of alkali and alkaline earth metal salts capable of reacting with combustion deposits to disintegrate them for easy removal by soot blowing or manual brushing (during shutdown). The dosage of PX 3682 depends on the fuel composition and type of boiler design. As a general recommendation use of 100 - 300gms of PX 3682 per tons of fuel provides good results. For every 8 working hours a maximum of one application is recommended. The maximum feed rate to be maintained over period of one to two weeks and the dosage reduced progressively thereafter. The optimum blend of inorganic salt and catalyst in PX 3682 helps maintain clean heating surfaces, thereby enhancing heat transfer efficiency and reducing fuel consumption. PX 3682 also removes existing deposits thereby reducing downtime for cleaning.
