Electroless Nickel Plating

Electroless Nickel Plating is a non-conventional plating system where current is not used for deposition. As no current is used, plating on intricate parts with hole and deep recesses can be done with a uniform layer thickness. The plating layer is amorphous and corrosion protection is superior to that of equal thickness of electrodeposited nickel. Eni has surface hardness of 48 to 62 HRC with excellent bonding and the plated layer does not flake-off. Electroless Nickel Plating is ideal for complex shapes where uniform and controllable plating thickness is not possible by conventional electroplating process.
