Ecofriendly Cleaning of Small Parts

The company Elma offers its ultrasonic cleaning machine RM 1000. Small parts such as medical equipment, screws or watches can be cleaned fully automatically in this machine. Soft chemicals are used for the cleaning process, and all cleaning fluids circulate permanently between the bath and a special filter element, thus reducing costs. The parts are moved by a small robot through the different cleaning stages. First, the parts are cleaned in an ultrasonic bath with a biodegradable purifier. Then, they are rinsed with water and IPA (isopropylalcohol). Finally, the parts are dried by air.
