Dew Speciality Chemicals Pvt Ltd offers Corrosion Inhibitors. Corrosion is the attack of a metal by chemical or electrochemical reaction with its environment. It takes several forms, and displays various degrees of severity, ranging from a simple alteration of the appearance to rapid penetration or the total loss of mechanical properties with all the economic consequences. Corrosion practically always has an electromechanical nature or origin, and generally affects steel. Dew corrosion inhibitors are substances which, when added in small amounts to the corrosive medium, reduce its corrosiveness in considerable measures. Our products are extremely efficient at very low dosage, and sufficiently inert to avoid altering the physico-chemical properties of Oil.  Corrosion Inhibitors: DEW manufactures a range of corrosion inhibitor. Basic ingredients for most of them are different grades of imidazolines, which are manufactured in-house. Other ingredients are being fatty amine derivatives, volatile amines and surfactants. DEW has approved corrosion Inhibitors for oil lines, water lines, gas lines. Products are designed to counter corrosion due to Brine and Corrosive gases like CO2, H2S. DEW also has inhibitor for attacks due to acids like HCL & HF, at higher temperature and pressure.  Scale Inhibitors: Inorganic salt deposits exhibit various levels of severity .Some can be removed by water (sodium chloride) and others by acid (calcium carbonate), while others still are practically impossible to solubilise (barium or strontium sulphate). In addition to these inorganic salt deposits, the development of deep water offshore production has given rise to another kind of deposit, hydrates, resulting from the combination of gas and water inspecific operating conditions. The Dew ranges of scale inhibitors that are added during secondary recovery of oil. These chemicals improve oil and gas flow by preventing scaling without causing any change in the crude oil characteristic. DEW manufactures two types of scale inhibitors; one to prevent scale formation due to calcium carbonate and another for prevention of strontium sulphate deposits. It enables the user to maintain scale free surfaces in pipe walls, heat exchangers and valves.
