Chrysotile asbestos fibre jointing

Ahmedabad-based Super Waudite Jointings Super Waudite HP, a super quality jointing composed of carefully selected chrysotile asbestos fibres with a specially compounded heat resisting synthetic rubber binder. This is used mainly on steam services and conditions where reliabili ty at high temperature and pressure is demanded. It also has good resistance to a wide range of oils, alkalies, chemicals, petroleum distillates and solvents. This grade is widely used in marine engines, electricity generating sets, etc. Max recommended temperature - 550?C and max recommended pressure - 160 kg/cm?. Available sheet size - 1500 x 2000 mm and 3000 x 2000 mm; and thickness - 0.25, 0.4, 0.75, 1.5 and 3 mm. Also available is Super Waudite Metallic, with wire gauze insertion in thickness of 0.75, 1.5 and 3 mm suitable for 600?C and pressure 180 kg/cm?.
