The ideal plastic material for plating purpose is ABS shows many of the desirable features of both metal and plastics. Usex metal cleaner: non silicated alkaline soak cleaner to remove grease, oil from plastic components. Can be operated at low temperature. Nuclator 691-A: Nuclator 691A seeds and sensitises a non-conductive surface for auto catalytic or electroless deposition of a metal. It produces uniform surface finish and is used at times as first stage protective bath prior to Nuclator 691. Nuclator 691: single step concentrated palladium activator with good receptivity and ensuring excellent and uniform bonding of electroless nickel. Elnik-ABS (Electroless) process: Elnik ABS in an electroless nickel process for deposition of uniform conductive coatings on plastic and other non-conductors. It produces bright, hard, corrosion resistant deposit and possessing good lubricity. It also produces uniform plating over entire surface even in the recessed areas. It is easy to operate, highly stable and economical bath.
