- Earthplus is a highly conductive earth pit backfill
- It has a natural resistivity of less than 6.5 ohm-meters
- It has the ability to hold moisture for very long periods
- It has plenty of free ions which make it highly conductive
- It is corrosion free
- It forms a conductive gel when mixed with water, Hence it virtually increases the electrode diameter
- It is in the form of a very fine powder (more than 200 mesh) which increases its contact surface area tremendously
- It has the ability to reduce the soil resistivity by 20-70%; and
- It coats the soil particles like a film and penetrates into the cavities in the soil
