Levcon offers Transparent Level Gauge. TS series transparent level gauge is used for local indication of liquid levels in vessels under temperature and pressure conditions like steam boilers, condensers, accumulators and other pressure vessels. Direct level indication of dirty/viscous/ aggressive liquids in any process industry (including boilers ) including non- corrosive or corrosive liquids.
- Materials of Construction: Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, PVC, PP, Rubber / FEP Lined or ECTFE / FEP coated in case of corrosive applications.
- Glass: Moulded borosilicate (extra hard) transparent glasses conforming to BS 3463: 1975 or Equivalent Standards.
- Gaskets: Sealing Side: SLS150B – Graffoil with SS Sheet insert.
- Cushion Side: SIL4430 – Glass Fibre with Nitrile Rubber Binder.
- N.B: Other Gaskets: CAF, Teflon, Neoprene also available.
- Bolts, Studs & Nuts: High Tensile steel (A193B7, A1942H or Equivalent). Other types on request.
- Process Connections: Flanged, SW, BW or Screwed (Through Standard or Spherical Unions).
- Pressure Rating: Up to 80 kg/cm² or above.
- Temperature Rating: 400°C max. for non-steam or non-corrosive applications (320°C max. in case of applications involving steam).
- Mica Backing strips: Stained ‘First’ / ‘A’ quality. 0.15 - 0.2 mm thick.
- Optional Items: Aluminium / Stainless Steel engraved Scale, External or Internal Steam Heating Jackets, Perspex plate type Illuminators (Aluminium Lamp Housings – Weatherproof / Flameproof to Gr. IIA, IIB, or IIC gases as per IS2148: 2004).
- Suitable for side mounting on tank/ pressure vessel.
- Large chamber type in case of boiling/ evaporating liquids.
- Moulded transparent plate type toughened borosilicate glasses conforming to BS 3463:1975 or equivalent.
- Rotatable gauge body having union nut & nipple type couplings.
- Expansion loops to take care of uneven expansion of gauge body involving high temperature applications.
- Tie bar/ stand pipe (fitted through expansion loops) for added robustness, more compact-ness & better circulation.
- Additional gauge section (optional) at side to achieve uninterrupted visibility.
- Covers with top & bottom strengthening ribs. 3 piece type for high pressure applications.
- Die forged parts in case of CS/ SS 304/ SS 316 leading to robust construction.
- Spring cones for bolts in case of high pressure applications.
- Offset type valves (Bolted/ screwed bonnet type - hand wheel operated)at top, bottom or sides as standard. Other types on request.
- Weight lever operated/ push button operated/ chain operated valves as alternatives.
- IBR/ Lloyds certification (if required).
- Where high temperature is involved, the glass cover bolts should be re-tightened (at specified torque, using torque wrench) at site after high temperature is attained.
