Thickness Measurement Gauge

Presto Stantest Private Limited offers the Olympus Magna Mike 8600, a non-destructive precision Thickness Measurement Gauge for all non-ferrous materials such as glass, plastic, PET, rubber, paper, aluminum, alloys, etc., that do not contain iron. The gauge uses simple Hall Effect principle to make fast accurate and repeatable measurements. The wall thickness is measured by placing a small steel target ball on one side of the test piece and the magnetic probe on the opposite side. The Magna Mike 8600 precisely measures the distance between the probe tip and the target ball, which corresponds to the thickness of the wall. The gauge features a large color display, which gives better visibility in all lighting conditions. It has an expanded thickness range of 0.001 to 25.4 mm. The Olympus Magna Mike 8600 has an internal file based alpha numeric data logger that can store up to 4, 75,000 values. This data can also be exported to an excel spreadsheet using WinXL program. This program interfaces the PC with the gauge. The interfacing of the PC and the gauge can be done using the standard USB port or the RS-232 port.
