Gatts India Co offers a wide range of Jigs and Fixtures – workholding or support devices that are used in the manufacturing industry. What makes a fixture unique is that each one is built to fit a particular part or shape. The main purpose of a fixture is to locate and in some cases hold a workpiece during either a machining operation or some other industrial process. A jig differs from a fixture in that it guides the tool to its correct position in addition to locating and supporting the workpiece. The primary purpose of jigs and fixtures is to: reduce the cost of production; maintain consistent quality; maximize efficiency; and enable a variety of parts to be made to correct specifications. Established in the year 1998, Gatts India Co began with fabrication of tanks, but with continuous efforts in upgrading, it now specialises in manufacturing and designing of stainless steel jobs, precision sheet metal jobs, high tolerance tubular frames, pressure vessels, process equipments, jigs and fixtures, trolleys and automation works. In order to provide wider range of products to fulfil the increasing demands of customers, a series of fabrication and automation works are finely developed with modern facilities with sound infrastructure spread across two units. The facilities include: welding power up to 20 kVA and machine power up to 30 HP. The company is fully equipped with all kinds of welding equipment ranging from TIG, MIG, arc, and all types of special tools required for fabrication. The machine shop consists of different modes of drilling, turning, shaping, punching and milling equipments.
