Features: options to choose between English and metric unit; measuring range in multi mode thickness with B scan – pulse echo mode (pit and flaw detection) 0.025 to 9.99 inch (0.063 to 254 mm), echo-echo mode (through paint and coatings) 0.050 to 4.00 inch (1.27 to 102 mm); built-in SS reference disk for probe zeroing; resolution 0.001 inch (0.01 mm); velocity range – 0.0492 to .3936 in/?s (1250-9.999 mtr/sec); 32 readings per second and displays minimum reading found when transducer is removed; captures minimum thickness; features alarm mode, differential mode, high speed scanning and data send (RS232) (model MX-5, MX-5DI only); extruded aluminium body with nickel plated aluminium end caps; keypads are water and petroleum products resistant; dual element (transmit and receive) transducer range 1-10 MHz; and internal data logger with up to 12,000 readings and B scans with Windows PC interface software.
