Float and Tape Tank Gauge

Pune Techtrol Pvt Ltd offers Float and Tape Tank Gauge, Model FTG. It is a reliable and accurate mechanical level gauge mostly used in all product applications and tank types for continuous liquid level indication. It can be easily installed on new tanks or retrofitted on existing tanks. Gauge enclosure is provided with IP66 weather proofness or ex- proofness to group IIA & IIB. It is provided with 2 pointers moving on a calibrated dial to indicate ‘metres’ and ‘millimetres’ respectively. Besides local indication, it can be provided with two adjustable switches for alarm generation or 4-20 mA transmitter for remote indication. Gauge is provided with a hoist mechanism to haul up the float for high viscosity or solidifying liquids at ambient temperature. The float is lowered into the liquid during level measurement only. It is also useful to facilitate easy maintenance of tank and to check the performance of its switches and transmitter. As an option, seal pot arrangement is provided for fuming toxic liquids, which prevent fumes from being vented into atmosphere. Being a highly accurate device with an accuracy of ±2 mm and resolution of 1 mm, the gauge is widely used in refineries and chemical industries for custody transfer (inventory management) of hydrocarbons, varnishes and other valuable liquids.
