Viscoelastic Sheets/Tapes

T Square Technologies offers Viscoelastic Sheets/Tapes. These are self adhesive sheets/tapes made from a unique, high density, highly viscoelastic material whose efficiency is derived from the use of a carefully formulated polymer with mass enhancing limp mineral loaded sound barrier additives. These damping materials are designed to have both "viscous" and "elastic" characteristics, viscous to damp vibrational energy by converting it to negligible heat and elastic to allow it to recover after each vibration cycle repetitively. These sheets/tapes are self-adhesive and provide a simple method of achieving dramatic control of panel vibration and its associated noise. In addition to reduced noise it helps reduce risk of fatigue failure with enhanced performance. The sheets are available in sizes of 300 x 300 mm. These sheets are made using limp mineral loaded viscoelastic polymer with mass of 200-800 g per sheet. The sheets are also available with vinyl/fabric facing in colours to present decorative outlook. The adhesive tapes are available in size of 50 mm x 1 m, plain or vinyl/fabric backing. They find application in computers, printers, automotive, railways, aircrafts, electrical and electronic home/industrial appliances and equipments, duct work, machine tools, compound machinery, compressors, generators, transformers, fans, speakers and low pressure gaskets and seals, etc.
