Jagdeep Foundry offers Surface Plate. It provides precision base for tool making, marking and checking the accuracy of other surfaces. It is made of close-grained wear resistant cast iron having minimum hardness of 180 BHN. It is available in different grades. The casting of Surface Plates are stress relieved to relieve internal stresses. The surface plates are provided with suitable cover for protection of the surface.
Standard size surface plates are made generally as per IS-2285:2003 in three grades of accuracies and have hand-scraped finish; surface tables are made to grade-1, 2 and 3 flatness accuracies of DIN-876 and have hand-scraped / graound finish; M.S. fabricated stand or C.I. column type floor stands supplied at extra cost; grid lines, tapped holes and T-slots can be provided at extra cost.
