Mahindra Ugine Steel Co Ltd. (MUSCO), a part of the famous Mahindra & Mahindra Group of Companies, is located at Khopoli, near Mumbai and is a premier manufacturer of alloy steel and specialty steels in India. Started in 1962, having a current installed capacity of 180000 MT is ready to expand to 240000 MT by 2012. The Company is engaged in the manufacturing of alloy & specialized steel through 50 T Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) route. The Co was one of the First to get ISO Certification and was further certified for ISO/TS 16949 in 2005 and ISO 14001 in 2010. MUSCO clientele includes TATA, Ashok Leyland, Maruti Suzuki, Rolex etc.
Steel Products Include: Alloy, Tool and Die Steels(AISI H11, AISI H13, AISI O1, etc.), Plastic Mould Steels (P20, DIN 1.2311, P20+Ni i.e. DIN 1.2738, etc.), Engineering Alloy Constructional Steels, Case Carburising Steels, Automotive Valve Steels etc. Product Range Includes: Bottom Poured Ingots, Concast Blooms, Forge Products, Hot Rolled Products, Round Cornered Square Bars, Bright Bars. The company supply these products as Cast, Forged, Rolled, Softened, Hardened, Normalised, Annealed Forms.
