Kristeel Shinwa Industries Ltd offers thin, intricate Metal Components manufactured as per samples and drawings through ‘photo chemical machining’. The company has excellent Tool Room facility and specialises in manufacturing components by the process of blanking for higher quantities. It has in-house press shop and plating facility to provide customers with complete finished product, and enjoys technical collaborations with the following world leaders: Shinwa Rule Company (Japan) for measuring instruments and gauges; M.E.T (USA) – chem-etch/laser cut stencils for surface mount technology; and M.E.C (USA) – thick film screens for CD printing and hybrid circuits. Photo chemical machining is a unique metal working unconventional machining technique for production of thin intricate metal components, which are difficult, uneconomical or at times impossible to manufacture through any other conventional processes. The process by its nature offers ‘tremendous savings in cost while adhering to the international quality standards required’. Major advantages of photo chemical machining: low cost tooling; speed of delivery; unlimited design flexibility; integrity of metal properties; easy tooling modification; burr free components; and suitable for prototype and short runs. It manufactures over 8000 different tailor made components such as encoder discs, washers, shims, mark stencils, copier and printer components, HRC fuse elements, lead frames, switch and relay contacts, contacts for LPG/CNG conversion kit, sieves and mesh, designer pointers, name plates, suction and discharge valves used in compressors, PVR diaphragms, etc.
