Dirak offers Hinges, Snap-Line. It is ideal for electrical enclosure applications, for cabinets in telecommunications, and for any sheet metal applications in an industrial environment. Traditionally, installing a hinge on a door or frame requires as many as three steps: aligning the hardware, fitting washers and nuts, and tightening screws. It save time and effort in final assembly of the door to the frame, because the door part and frame part of the hinge can be shipped already assembled as one piece, ready to be snapped into a prepared cutout on the door or frame. The D-Snap housing holds a spring-loaded set of wings designed to snap into position to hold a latch or hinge firmly in the panel. It holds securely, even in severe vibration environments. It requires no screws or tools for installation. Modular Locking, Latching, and Hinging System family include quick release fasteners, quarter-turn fasteners, snap/ push locks, knobs, handles, wing-L&T handles, swing handles and EMI/RFI gasketing are also offered.
