High-speed steel coils

Sripad Steels from New Delhi offers high-speed steels coils of WKE 42 grade that conform to HS10-4-3-10, DIN W.NR 1.3207 standards. These coils have an excellent hot hardness, reasonably good toughness and a good wear resistance. Technical specifications: Standard maximum delivery hardness: As soft annealed: 300 HB Cold drawn: 300 HB Cold rolled: 350 HB Heat treatment: Soft-annealing: 850-870?C for 3 hours followed by slow cooling at 10?C per hour down to 650?C followed by air-cooling. Stress-relieving: 600?C to 700?C for approximately 2 hours, slow cooling down to 500?C Hardening with pre-heating in 2 steps: at 450-500?C and 850-900?C, and austenitizing at 1150-1240?C 3 tempers at 560?C are recommended (maintain at least 2 hour each at temperature).
