Hardened/Tempered Steel Strips

T M A International offers Hardened/Tempered Steel Strips. This is available in low, medium and high alloy carbon steel. Liquid metal bath quenching with automatic computerised temperature control system is employed which is different from conventionally used oil quenching process. The process to produce bainitic steel strips has unique combination of hardness with ductibility that improves the toughness property. The strips are manufactured from high quality killed and vacuum degassed steel cold rolled in-house in modern cold rolling mills with close dimensional tolerance, in a range of standard grades. Range and technical specifications: width - .50 mm to 400 mm; thickness - 0.10 mm to 4.50 mm; finish - bright ground or polished blue, brown and grey; edges - one or both edges round, square, chamfered and bevelled; grades - steels having medium and high carbon and low alloy contents; tolerances - as per IS 2507-1975 or DIN 1544 normal variations; microstructure - tempered martensite or bainite; hardness - as per specific requirements for a particular purpose - hardened and tempered, as rolled hard and as annealed.
