Electro Metallurgical Division of Nava Bharat Ferro Alloys is manufacturing ferro alloys. The company is engaged in diverse fields such as ferro alloys, power and sugar. The range of ferro alloys includes: HC ferro chrome; HC silico manganese; HC ferro manganese; and ferro silicon. These are available in various grades. Special requirements can be met by mutual agreement. The company"s manufacturing facilities are located at: ferro alloy plant at Paloncha in Andhra Pradesh, India with 100 % assured power from captive power plant; and ferro alloy plant in Dhenkanal district, Orissa, (captive power project under implementation). It has continuous casting machines giving superior ferro alloys. The capacity is 140,000 tones per annum of chromium/manganese alloys or 50,000 tones per annum of ferro silicon. Major consumers are steel plants and iron foundries in India and export sales to USA, Korea, Japan and Indonesia.
