Hindustan Platinum is acknowledged as India's pioneering company in manufacturing Contact Materials and Contacts. Accredited as the first Indian company to introduce bimetal contacts in 1973, it also stands amongst the few manufacturers in the world who can manufacture silver tin oxide and silver cadmium oxide both by powder metallurgy (sintered) as well as melting (internally oxidized) process. Contact materials: superior quality contact materials are provided in semi-finished forms like round and flat, wires, sheets and strips - depending on the final application. Contacts: the company’s Contacts Division has acquired a huge market in India and overseas. World-class contacts are manufactured in accordance with customers' requirements, for extensive and critical applications: solid contacts; bimetal contacts; trimetal contacts; projection welding buttons; contacts on carriers; and contact tapes.
