Alfa Enterprises offers Coated Steel Sheets. This has been used extensively by the construction industries. Because of its excellent corrosion resistance it has become the preferred material for a wide range of construction uses - particularly, roofing and walling. Coated steel sheet is unique as a building material. It combines the strength of steel with the excellent corrosion protection of zinc or zinc/ aluminium alloy coatings. It can be punched, pressed, roll-formed, folded, and joined into a limitless number of structural and decorative building products. The product range of coated steel sheets offered are: Galvalume steel - Al-Zn alloy coated steel combination - 55% aluminium; 43.4% zinc; and 1.6% silicon. PPGL: pre-painted Al-Zn alloy coated steel. PPGI: colour-coated galvanised steel. Product features: good design and secure fastening systems ensure the security and weather-tight performance of coated-steel roofing during extreme weather conditions; coated steel sheet is lightweight and easy to transport and handle during construction; coated steel sheet is fire resistant; it possesses excellent thermal properties to keep a building cooler in summer and warmer in winter; and it also provides a quiet roofing system particularly when used in conjunction with appropriate insulation systems.
