Cast Iron Bed Plates

Cast Iron Bed Plates comes from Selomac. Selomac T slot beds are available for various applications like job clamping, marking, inspection, etc. The recent T slot bed designed and manufactured by the company s for a duplex, moving column plano miller against an export order. The dimension of the T slot bed is 16 mtr long x 1.55 mtr wide, in 4 lengthwise segments. The CI bed plates conform to IS and free of blow holes or porosity. Made of high graded, plain grey iron castings, duly stress-relieved, these plates conform to IS. T-slots also conform to IS. Heavily cross-ribbed, the T slot beds are designed to carry heavy weight and to withstand heavy cutting load with least distortions or sagging. Well designed segment-joining method, levelling mechanism are the other features of these plates. The unmachined inner surfaces are applied with rust-preventive paint. Top, bottom and all the 4 sides of the plate are machined in CNC plano miller for a very high level of surface accuracy and parallelism. T slots are also machined in the same plano miller. The flatness of floor plate is 0.075 mm as per IS: 10602.
