Fourwents Engineering offers Carbon/Graphite Products. They are used for dynamic sealing and bearing components. These materials are made by blending carbon and/ or graphite powders with a hydrocarbon binder and pressing the mass into the desired shape and furnacing the moulded forms at temperatures approximating 2000 ºF. The material is highly resistant to wear, chemically inert, thermally stable and ideal for many engineering requirements. Other products available are carbon-graphite seals, bearings, bushings, packing rings, rotary joints, rings, vanes and precision parts. Carbon/ graphite products are available under the trade name "Fourcarb".
