Electromagnetic Locks

Magnets India offers Magnet-Schultz make Electromagnetic Locks. These conform to DIN VDE 0580. Electromagnetic locks are available in sizes of 1.5 inch dia x 1.63 inch long and 1.5 inch dia x 2.38 inch long as standard. Mounting is with threaded bushing (long washer and hex nut supplied). Other sizes are also available. Standard voltages available are DC 6, 12, 24, 110 and 220 V. Continuous and intermittent duty solenoids are available. Insulation is Class A. Life expectancy of the product is 2.5 x 106 cycles normal. The holding force is 160 oz and 195 oz respectively for the two sizes of solenoids mentioned above. Applications include door locking on CNC machine tools and for other types of doors for security related installations.
