Plug-On Display

The Plug-On Display, AUF-1000/1001, is a visual display, which does not require major expenditure of installation and costs. It is manufactured from robust synthetic housing protection type IP 65, which stands up to rugged operating conditions. Fitted with a LED display, the unit can be connected problem-free to all normal transmitters with 4-20 mA output with right-angle plug DIN 43 650. The display can be rotated in 90° steps and is simply plugged in between connector and socket; it is then ready for operation. As the plug-on display is supplied from the current loop of the 4-20 mA signal in the transmitter, no additional auxiliary power is required. The operation with two keys is menu-driven. Scaling, the position of the decimal point, damping, and error messages may be adjusted very easily locally. Even in case of power failure there is no data loss as it is stored on an EEPROM. Over or underflow of the measuring range are displayed immediately. All device functions are continuously monitored by an integral diagnostic system. AUF-1001 comes with integral open-collector output, which allows for an adjustable limit switch.
