Digital Readout

The Digital Readout, VNP 400 DRO, has a 9"paper-white CRT display for easier operation. It provides a user-friendly interface for data entry and display. VNP 400 can be used up to 4 axes, which are defined by parameters. It also provides up to 9 absolute or incremental datum points for each of these axes. Multilingual help text in all operating modes and levels is available. Position display in any resolution can be obtained regardless of the transducers being used. During common operations or program editing, it allows: calculating drilling positions in line or circle (bolt hole pattern) automatically; calculating the centre of a rectangular or circular part; and calculating automatically the feedrate and RPMs to improve the part's finish. VNP 400 also provides the facility of displaying various auxiliary functions such as: presettable clock and simple calculator to transfer operation results to position values. VNP 400 also allows user friendly interface allowing communications with other types of peripherals as: PC for program and parameter transfers as well as keyboard emulation from the peripheral; and probe connection for part digitising is easily possible. Also sending the obtained data to a peripheral or storing it as program positions can be done on VNP 400. It provides user selected counting and display resolutions from 0.0001 mm.
