Supervisory control and data acquisition systems

Ashida Electronics Pvt Ltd develops ASCADA supervisory control and data acquisition systems enabling central control over distant processes. In this system, individually functioning protective relays/measurement modules are equipped with data storage/communication ability. A common, open protocol enables formation of a common data bus, seamlessly integrating these individual components to form a distributed monitoring and controlling system. Availability of accurate data in time for fault analysis; all substation status report available at the main centre instantly for the top management to take quick decision; better management of available resources and assigning various priorities to various feeders, which could then be tripped if required are the advantages of the system. The system is suitable for controlling a satellite substation from a central controlling station.
