Automatic Programming System

Data I/O's automatic programming system, Model ProMaster 2500, provides universal support and is a fully integrated, automated system for programming, testing, sorting and labelling programmable devices. It provides universal support for devices in DIP packages up to 32 pins, PLCC packages up to 84 pins, and 150 through 515 mil SOIC packages with 8 44 pins. The ProMaster 2500 is a handling and programming system designed for processing about 500 devices per hour, depending on programming time. Its advanced pick and place handling technology minimises damage to delicate SMDs and ensures safe, high yield SMT production. The pick and place head rotates devices, so programming and labelling can proceed without interruption regardless of device operation in the tubes. Automated tube to tube processing also eliminates human error and device damage, and minimises any ESD damage caused by human handling. Tube holders accept any standard programmable IC tube without adjustments, and centres the tube automatically. A high density, thermal printer quickly prints and applies device labels in one swift and precise operation.
