Elastometric Molding Lines offers a forward and return Stroke Cutting Attachment for Shaping and Planing Machines. This attachment is based on national award winning patented invention. In conventional shaping machines, the cutting action is performed by the tool only in the forward stroke and the return stroke is idle. The Forward and Return Stroke Attachment provides for cutting in the forward as well as in the return stroke thereby doubling the productivity of the machine. This attachment is ideally suited for roughing cut in the forward stroke and finishing cut in the return stroke. Use of this attachment will redefine the productive role of shaper and planer machines. The above attachment has also been tested and approved by M/s Batliboi & Company. Apart from many users, this attachment has also been supplied to Integral Coach Factories at Chennai and Kapurthala as well as to Bharat Heavy Electricals, Bhopal. The attachment has also been subjected to extensive trials by Diesel Locomotive Works (Indian Railways), Varanasi and they have reported the working of the device has been found satisfactory. It can give substantial productivity improvement on shaper/planer.
