Software for Cylinder Design

Atos S.p.a offers Software for Cylinder Design, New DVC-11. This is smart software for fast and efficient design of ISO standard hydraulic cylinders. The codes’ assisted selection and the new sizing calculation drive step by step the user to identify the best cylinder for each application; the 3D modelling provides an excellent customer support for mechanical design of machines or systems, since it permits to include the 3D model into the overall drawing. DVC is available in DVD format with 4 selectable languages: English, Italian, French, German. DVC refers to the ISO standard Atos cylinders range: CK and CH to ISO 6020-2 – square heads with tie-rods – p.max 250 bar; CN to ISO 6020-1 – round heads with counter flanges – p.max 250 bar; CH big bore to ISO 6020-3 – counter flanges assembly – p.max 250 bar; CC to ISO 6022 – round heads with counter flanges – p.max 320 bar; servo cylinders to ISO 6020-2 – square heads – p.max 250 bar; new CKA to ISO 6020-2 – for potentially explosive atmospheres to ATEX directive 94/9/CE – p.max 250 bar; new CKS to ISO 6020-2 – with adjustable proximity sensors – p.max 150 bar; and attachments to ISO 6982, ISO 8132 and ISO 8133. Main DVC features: 2D cylinder display with the main installation dimensions and export of 2D files in DXF format; 3D cylinder visualization with positioning of the rod stroke and export of 3D files in IGES, SAT and STEP format; new DVC cylinder’s sizing for calculation of acting forces, check of buckling loads, cushionings and cylinder working life; technical documentation and spare parts tables for the selected cylinder or attachment; and trolley function to create cylinder’s list which can be saved for orders/offers.
