Server PCs with Raid Subsystems, Industrial-Grade

Dynalog India, manufacturer of industrial grade PCs/servers, in collaboration with Advantech, USA/Taiwan, has announced the availability of its next generation of rack-mount server PCs, the SPC-520 and SPC-530. These rugged systems are designed to meet the performance and reliability requirements for today's high-end server applications in the networking, telecommunications, and computer telephony industries. The configurable 20-slot SPC-530 and the 9-slot SPC-520 are full-function systems allowing OEMs, SIs, and VARs to implement highly reliable systems such as automatic call devices, call center servers, wide area and local area networks servers, virtual private networks, voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) and video-on-demand servers. The passive backplane architecture makes them perfect for systems that require high scalability and easy maintenance while withstanding the harsh environments of the most demanding applications. The systems can also act as a highly reliable file server for large storage applications and RAID solutions. The SPC-530 features six half-height, front-accessible disk drives and RAID subsystem interface (levels 0, 1(0+1), 3, 5). The SPC-520 has up to ten front-accessible half-height disk drives for mass storage requirements as well as an optional RAID support for data security and reliability. Both support Windows NT, 95/98, Linux, Sun Solaris, Open Server, OS/2, NetWare, SCO UnixWare, and MS-DOS. Custom configurations, pre-load application and operating software are also available.
