Festo Controls offers Compact Camera System, SBOC-M/SBOI-M. This is technically equivalent of a conventional high-speed camera for monitoring extremely fast motion sequences in their systems, and much more cost-effective alternative. The camera system has a very high scanning rate of between 185 and 2,000 images per second, making it possible to perform a detailed analysis of individual or cyclical rapid motion sequences. Sources of errors are easy to identify and motion sequences are easy to handle, adjust and monitor. Mobile high-speed camera installations help plant constructors reduce commissioning and service costs, rectify problems more quickly and increase system productivity. The compact dimensions and sturdy construction of the high-speed camera allow it to be installed directly in the machine, making it the ideal choice for the monitoring of critical processes. This facilitates preventive maintenance, improves system availability and helps increase productivity. The new high-speed camera is also superior to conventional high-speed systems in terms of its user friendliness. All of the electronics for recording and storing motion sequences are already integrated in the system, making it extremely practical.
