Firstsight Vision offers Cameras. The new models are equipped with Sony Interlaced CCDs and are believed to be the only interlaced cameras currently available. Offering a highly cost-effective entry into digital image processing, these new models are very easy to use in applications where interlaced analogue cameras and frame grabbers have traditionally been used. Integrated Smart Functions take over essential functions of the frame grabber. These smart functions include a user programmable Look Up Table, a configurable input and 3 configurable outputs. In particular, the EXview interlaced/NIR models can address applications where standard progressive scan CCDs are simply not sensitive enough. Available either in a housing or as a board only version upon request, AVT Guppy cameras are little bigger that the lens itself and fit in the smallest of spaces. Extensive built-in image processing possibilities (image pre-processing) result in outstanding image quality and high performance. This makes them particularly suitable for use in industrial image processing and product automation applications.
