Pune Techtrol offers Techtrol water alarm gadget, which is a reliable gadget for detecting ingress of water in oil tanks.
- It consists of a metallic or glass jar fitted with top mounted, magnetically actuated float switch with two preset levels; the switch contacts are housed in a nylon plug?in connector; as an option, the contacts can be housed in aluminum IP65 enclosure
- The gadget has one port at the bottom and another at the top; the bottom port is attached to the drain pipe of the tank and top port is connected to the side wall of the tank; during no ingress of water in the tank, the float rests at bottom of the jar
- However, on ingress of water, it reaches the bottom of the jar causing upward movement of float resulting in actuation of switches to generate corresponding alarms; the gadget is widely used in hydraulic and lubrication systems at a maximum temperature of 800C and pressure of 10Kg/cm2.
