Security Surveillance System

The HGS Security System has been developed and designed for the secure protection of perimeters against intrusion, especially in remote locations. The system is both highly sensitive and extremely reliable. It is particularly suitable in those areas where a large perimeter needs to be monitored and an automatic alarm system is required. The system being passive, does not depend on regular power for its operation. Designed on the concept of monitoring of seismic or ground vibrations, the system is available at a price much lower than that is payable for competing systems which use other technologies for intrusion detection. The system has been designed especially for border areas, industrial sites, large or valuable store dumps, warehouses, explosive magazines, nuclear installations, oil refineries, power stations, prisons, army bases, and farm houses. The seismic sensors are installed on multicore cable which is buried in a custom designed trench along the perimeter. The ground electronics has to be tailor-made to provide maximum sensitivity to avoid the incidence of false alarms or insufficient detection. Each control module has 16 channels, each channel corresponding to a specific length of the perimeter and this zone can be as small as 5 metres or as large as 200 metres. On intrusion, the unit triggers an audible and visual alarm by displaying the affected zone. In addition, the control unit can also trigger flood lights, sirens, or closed circuit TVs in the affected zone. The unit provides a gain control to adjust ground monitoring sensitivity in areas where background noise varies appreciably in a twenty-four hour period. This makes the system highly versatile and flexible with user aqiustable trigger levels when required for specific locations.
