Safety light curtains

Electropneumatics & Hydraulics offers Electro Guard, a intelligent opto-electronic protection system called the safety light curtain. These systems have contact free function and can be mounted vertically or horizontally and safeguard hazardous points and zones efficiently. Features of Electro Guard: 7-segment display indicating the channel interrupted; key bypass feature to bypass the light curtain; individual channel bypass feature; capable of defining zones of operation within the light curtain; designed to handle vibrations and shock; minimal effort for alignment of transmitter and receiver; in case of failure, the channel failed is indicated and can be bypassed till a service technician arrives, thus keeping the machine in operation; compact panel mounting controller; extremely sleek transmitter and receiver modules; and protection for fingers, hands and personnel at presses, component assembly machines and at robot and insert stations. Two models are available, EPG-8C and EPG-16C, with detection zone height 300 and 600 mm respectively.
