Safety Light Curtain Systems

Medisys offers Safety Light Curtain System, Safegard 2000. It is a safety system used in: power presses, press brakes, shears, paper guillotines, plastic machinery; perimeter guard; elevators; robotic zones, SPMs, etc. Features: powerful infra-red scan sensors; sleek design of light bar units; easy to install; easy alignment; tolerates heavy machine vibrations in power presses or any other machines; "fail-safe" control circuitry; operating range up to 5000 mm; field proven in several major industries; sturdy extruded aluminium light bar channels; common controller unit suitable for all models; dual side controller in single enclosure for front and rear guarding; and panel mounting or wall mounting facility provided for control unit. Specifications: power input - 230 V/ 110 V AC/ 50 Hz - AC version control unit; 24 V DC/ 1 A - DC version control unit; output - 1 x N/ O +1 x N/ C - 5 A rating (potential-free), 2 x N/ O + 2 x N/ C - available for dual control unit; protection - input and output - fuse protected; operating temperature - 32°F to 131°F (0°C to 55°C); interconnection cable set - provided with round metal connectors, standard length up to 5 m (15 ft). A common by pass mode facility is provided. Using this feature the safety barrier can be by passed externally through rotary cam switch of the press/ machine during "upward" stroke in order to increase productivity and job feeding time.
