Safety Light Curtain

Excella Electronics offers a programmable safety light curtain system. The system is housed in aluminium powder coated transmitter and receiver elements. This consists of a number of beams depending on height of the curtain. It has an in-built power supply of 12 V DC ensuring long life with minimum maintenance. The safety light curtain is most reliable solution to the problem of operator’s safety for machinery such as presses, shears, and brakes. The receiver and transmitter have swivelling arrangement of 20° in both directions. It is very easy for installation. The transmitter and receiver elements have 3-pin and 4-pin connectors to make easy connection with individual beam status indication. The response time is less then 20 ms with relay output and works up to 55°C temperature. It has a protection IP 65 and also has power ‘On’ through beam through beam condition.
